Making Music

Today, so many people are out trying to make music that the industry would love, that they have forgotten what it was that got them started in the first place. It was their passion for music, and what they wanted to see changed in the industry. But they have become like everyone else in the business, and have become afraid to try to make that change. Because if they do something differently then all that have gone before them, they will not make it. Making music is a passion and a dream, and seeing the positive things that music can do for us all is a great accomplishment. Why would we try to kill our children, but yet we are poisoning them with music of violence, songs that does not give them a way or an opportunity to get out of the hood, gang violence, killing, being a gangster, hate, racism, drugs, and a false hope on making fast money. We need to give our children our race, our people, and our nation positive hope. Nothings going to last forever, unless we all are willing to change. So let's make music that is not only going to bring us all together, but let us share in our music where we came from and where we are going. For this is the heritage and the true out look on making music. For with music we can conquer hate, we can save a nation, we can make a difference for the future generations. We need to come together and show this world as a black race, white race, Hispanic race, oriental race, and all other races that we can stand united together and not let music influence who we are, what we are or what we can become. So let's let the true light and love shine in the music that we make. For it is not the music industry that makes that decision on what music can be made or played, but we ourselves, and they follow what the customer is looking for. We the people have to make that change and that decision that will make this world a better place to live. So let's make that change starting with the "Man in the Mirror"
